What is SAAM?
Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is a nationally recognized campaign that occurs annually in April. The purpose of SAAM is to bring communities together to raise awareness and to take action against sexual assault.
SAAM is coordinated by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC). The NSVRC leads the U.S. in providing comprehensive sexual violence prevention information through collaboration, sharing and creating resources, and promoting research.
