What is an advocate?

Advocates provide information, emotional support, and help finding resources.  We are confidential and free resources.  In the state of Iowa, advocates are not mandatory child abuse reporters.

What is Sexual Violence?

Sexual violence is any sexual act committed against someone without that person’s freely given consent or permission. Consent cannot be obtained through coercion, manipulation, force or while under the influence of any drug(s) including alcohol.
